chance to get together with like minded
people who love the outdoors. Below you will find the new line up for next year which we are excited about and hope to add a few more in the near future.

Winter
overnight shoot at Addieville East Farm
February 2nd & 3rd (Saturday & Sunday)
This annual
tradition continues at Addieville East
Farm in Rhode Island. Shoot clays
Saturday afternoon, enjoy dinner at the
cabin that evening (prepared by Mike and
David) and for those who want
to spend the night there's room for 10
people. Breakfast Sunday morning, and a
day of clays shooting. If weather permits
we also do some bird hunting. For those who
don't want to spend the night you're
welcome to join us for the day on
Sunday. Please call ahead to sign up
especially if you plan to overnight.
Monday April 28th: Stonehouse Pond, Lamprey River
Stonehouse pond gives you the feeling
of a true wilderness experience and its
in our own backyard of southern New
Hampshire. There are no homes on
this pond and you can easily get to any
spot by float tube. There are usually
good midge hatches at this time of year
as well as good streamer fishing.
We do this trip every year, it has
become a staple of the sporting club. Also, we will be
fishing the Lamprey River. The
Lamprey is a great Southern New
Hampshire river. Trout Unlimited and the
state
stocks the river in the fall with some
very large trout and in the spring
the river gets multiple stockings. This sets
things up for spectacular spring trout
fishing.
Monday May 12th: Winnepesaukee River
Good early season river for big
rainbows and landlocked salmon. The
river also boasts trophy smallmouths.
Monday May 19th: The Pemi and Sky Pond
T
his
trip takes us to Bristol New Hampshire
in the beautiful white mountains. We
will fish the Pemi during the day, and
tube Sky pond for the evening midge
hatch. The Pemi is bigger and faster
water than most New England streams so a
wading staff is a must.
Monday June 3rd: Sugar River
We gave the Sugar a rest last year
but are going back this year. We fish
the fly fishing only section which is a
beautiful stretch of water with riffles,
runs, and pools. Nymphing is usually a
very good way to fish this river.
Streamer fishing is also productive and
there are some hatches at this time of
year. (usually caddis)
